Madison Hex Garden...WIP

Started the second Pitch tonight.  Went together very fast  Didn't take that long to paint either. Used 1" Porcelain hex tiles.  Just needs the Sin Bins, Rush Tracker, and Score Tracker numbered and Madison Hex Garden will be ready to go. Painted it so it would look like a Hockey Rink.

Here side by side with Charming Field.

And the blank setup before I painted her...

  3. Hey there! I have a question about your tiles...

Did they come separate or on a sheet? I've been looking and all I can find are sheets... which may be to my advantage anyway, I guess.

Also, I've read through the rules once quickly. Will board size affect play at all? For instance, in Blood Bowl I made a custom pitch but had to make custom throw distance measurers too. Are any of the game mechanics based on distance in inches, or is everything measured in hexes?

  4. Came on a sheet of 143 hexes. Attaching the Ebay link where I got them. Two sheets plus shipping about $25.00. 48 "Sheets" left at the time of this post...looks like I bought the only 2 so far.

  5. No Unlike Bloodbowl...board size has no impact on gameplay. Everything is in hexes.

I had made a BB board that turned out to be the wrong size squares...thus all the passing was not accurate.

  6. Thanks for the infomation. I'm looking at some Hex tile at my local Home Depot. I was turned off by the fact that they are on a sheet at first, but I think it might actually make putting a pitch together easier with what I have in mind.

Great news on the no measuring front. I made my Bloow Bowl pitch with 1.5" squares to better accomodate 'Big Guys'. I had to take my throw measuring tool to kinkos and have them upsize it 50%. It worked fine after that.

    Thanks again!
